Hi Folks I'm taking a sudden interest in CB after not bothering for years. I thought I'd get on here and say Hi. And see if any of the old crew were still kicking. I cant believe its been so long. I was 13 years old when I first got my hands on a CB (Midland 100M). I was 14 on legalisation day. I'm 56 now!!!! Where has it all gone I was mad keen on CB for a long time. But I moved away from the UK in 2000. Are any of the old boys still around? Anyone who remembers AM days, or the first years of FM? Anyone who remembers the uk.rec.radio.cb usenet group? But if you dont, nice to meet you anyhow. cheers all Jack Axle Jack 43CT06 MM0AXL / VK2AXL

Hi Jack. There are many on here who started back in the AM days. I myself was one but then life got in the way and left radio for many years. When i did return to the hobby it was dead in my aria and i found this site. With some encouragement from one member i went for my ticket and glad i did. Many here have done the same after returning to the hobby.
