hi set up my new antenna on sunday had swr of 1.1 but today it has increased to 1.4 I have had a lot of rain and hi winds can the weather affect my swr reading

Hi Steven.....yes, the rain can temporarily affect your SWR reading but 1.4:1 is perfectly good so there's nothing to worry about. When it dries out it will usually drop back to its original value.

I think i found the problem when I got home from work had a look and I think the top section of the sirio gps 27 has dropped I must have not tightened it right but will find out Friday afternoon when I finnish work and take it down for a look
