GB3BL Bedford 70cm Repeater Empty
PostSubject: GB3BL Bedford 70cm Repeater   GB3BL Bedford 70cm Repeater Icon_minitimeMon Jan 15, 2024 9:29 am

For those of you in the Bedford (Bedfordshire) area there is a welcome return for the 70cm repeater GB3BL.

https://bedfordrepeatergroup.org.uk/News/Entries/2024/1/gb3bl-returns-to-service.html

We've been devoid of a local 70cm repeater for some time now so it's good to see it back on air.

GB3BF the local 2m repeater should also be moving soon from it's quite long term 'temporary' site. (Which will be good news for me as currently it sits right up my bum swamping the front end of my 2m radios!) Hopefully the new site will enable the sort of coverage it used to have before.

I've already programmed many of the local repeaters into my radios and also thought 'sod-it' so bought myself a big old white-stick too. Smile
I might have to add a few more repeaters with the inevitable increased coverage. GB3BL Bedford 70cm Repeater 1f44d

(Many complain that VHF/UHF activity, let alone repeater usage is dead in their area, so stop simply listening to or kerchunking them and give out a shout once in a while instead. Wink )

All the best,
Victor
