quansheng tg-uv2

hi i have a quansheng tg-uv2 dual band hand held transceiver i bought it new with all the extra bits i am having difficulty changing frequacy it just not responding it seems to be locked on to one unmovible frequency any help like a simple quick start whould be great thanks for looking paul m0kbd

hi i have been unable to change band it is locked up on 70cms tried you tube but wont move at all i have had it a number of years and it used to work fine base and in the car any ideas another day in the life of m0kbd thanks for looking paul

I've merged your pleas for help together in one posting as a bit of a forum tidy up so hope you don't mind.

I don't own this type of radio so unsure of what has happened but there is always the old fall back of - have you tried to reset it?

I know that would be a pain in that you'd have to program the radio all over again but I suppose that's better than having a radio stuck on one frequency.

Maybe worth a try?
