hi my name is steve/scoobas
been a radio ham for over 10 yrs stopped using the airwaves and sold my gear i had a yeasu ft 847 with a auto tuner as i am wanting to come back to the air i want to use the 11mtr band firstly to get back into things i have a CRT SS6900V and just a basic 5/8th wave silver rod again for now but at 18ft to the base of the antenna 
i am married and live in salford near farnworth/bolton of the greater manchester area 

i would also like to request a call sign to start using the 11mtr ssb
