Hi Paul,
A half wave end fed or dipole should work very well for free band DX. Can't comment on the G90 because I don't own one. Twenty five Watts of SSB should be O.K. when propagation is good.
Best 73 Gary.

Never used a long wire so i couldn't say, personally i use an old Antron 99 on a 24 foot chain link fence toprail, tuned the antenna to the middle of the Citizens Band Radio (U.S.A) band, SWR on 27.205 is 1:1, on 26.005 it's 1:3, on 29.695 it's 1:5, i have been able to talk to Scandinavia and Finland from the United States ( Southern California) on 27.555 USB with about a 100 watts on my Ranger 2950 Mirage and my Mirage M75 Amateur Bi-Linear Amplifier, surprisingly the Antron 99 is a very wide-banded antenna.

I have a G90 and use a long wire for 20m and below. Even though it tunes okay above 20m, it's deaf compared to when connected to my home brew 10m vertical dipole.
I only listen to 11m, I don't think the G90 will allow TX outside the amateur bands.

Just noticed you use a 66m long wire for HF. Reduce its length to 61.87m and add a 9:1 unun (if you don't already have that).
Useful lengths for "random" long wires are (in feet) : 29 35.5 41 58 71 84 107 119 148 203 347 407 423. But you must use a 9:1 unun to match the impedance to the radio.
