Anyone on here have a extra solarcon a-99 ground plane kit radial collar? I got a great deal on an open box a-99 that was missing the radial collar. I found a company in europe but i can buy the whole kit cheaper.Feel free to email me if you have one or know where i can get.

As the Antron is a very expensive 1/2 wave and if your SWR is ok it is very unlikely a ground plane kit will do anything at all for this antenna. 1/2 waves only need a very short stubby counterpoise on the ground side of 0.05 wavelength (most would use the mounting pole)
A ground plane kit will be only any use if you have common mode currents on your coax and I suggest using an ugly balun.
Clean your antenna SO-239 and metal screw sections with de-oxit or even lightly with wire wool, replace your PL-259's and install higher performance lower loss coax will make much more difference.
