I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Ian from Newcastle-under-Lyme in North Staffordshire. I have recently become interested in radios and as start have bought a handheld PMR446/ham unit, basically I bought UV5R, you know how its is. Depending how this little start to a hobby goes I may look to invest in a CB and then maybe a 2m/70cms Ham radio. I'm looking forward to making some new friends and developing a hobby. I've also realised through joining the site that I can apply for a call sign. If that is the case I should like to do that.
