| Hi everyone. Thanks for letting me join. My name is Peter and I'm from Birmingham. Just back into CB radio after about 15 years and presently using my old CBs which appear to be working quite well. | |

| I'm still using my old radios from years ago and surprisingly they all seem to be working OK. They are a Kernow Beta 4100 Rotel 220 and a Harrier HQ Base radio. I will use these for a while and then hopefully get something more up to date although I do really like old CBs. | |

| Welcome back to CB. I came back to CB about 18 months back after about 25 years away. I remember in the 80's calling on channels 14/19 and then having to look for a clear channel to continue talking. There were so many users finding a clear channel without bleed over from nearby users could be difficult, plenty of channels to jump in "on the side". Now it's very quiet here in Gwent with most activity just on 19. CB Radio looks like it is very slowly gaining popularity so hopefully this trend will continue. Welcome back and if your ever in S.Wales then give me a shout. 163CT188 or Cavalier | |

| Just setting a home base. I've ordered a Thunderpole 1/2 antenna, so hopefully it will be up and running next weekend. | |

| Old radios are much better, I use old old gear, my newest is 20 years old. Oldest are from the 50's. | |
