Hi Guys,
Looking to get advice on a aerial/antenna and mag mount to extend the range of my Baofeng.
I have ordered a PL259. female to SMA FEMALE Connector with 1m RG174.
I Need something I can use in the car and at home,
Any ideas please.
Ant cheers

Get a Sirio ML145 magmount and then you can use any amateur dual band SO239 antenna. The Diamond NR770 or one of the clones from Nagoya etc will work well. No need to go for one of those really long ones which claim stupid gain because in hilly terrain that gain actually works against you as your signal take off angle is mostly horizontal making it harder to get into nearby repeaters on hills.
