Hi guys,
I have now replaced my dead Baofeng with. Yaesu FT -4x .
Really pleased with the radio,
I have managed to input my local repeaters and am enjoying listening,
as my foundation is not for a couple of weeks.
I also enjoy listening to PMR,
But am unable to input exact Frequencies,
ie channel 8 446.09375
Comes out as 446.0875
Could any body please advise.
Many thanks 🙏

The tuning steps in your radio don't permit that.

You only have adjustable step width: 5/10/12.5/15/20/25/50/100 kHz so .09375 isn't a possible frequency to use with those.

I am fairly sure you can indeed set the tuning steps to 6.25 which then should enable you to set the correct PMR frequency  ( eu version )

Check menu No 37
