Good afternoon. Just a quick query, is the Yaesu FT-767 able to recieve and transmit on 11 meters ? Just playing around with it and would like to find out for sure. Thanks.

Shouldn't TX on 11m from factory i don't think. Could have been wide-banded later in life if it does. It will RX on all bands.

Brilliant advice Victor, unfortunately after looking at the unit, then reading the instructions and trying to look at the very poor pictures of 'how to' in the manual I have decided to leave well alone as they say. My stumbling block was I thought it was fairly simple to just take off the top cover and bingo there it was, err miscalculation on my part, not so easy to 'just remove' the cover, bit to many other bits to undo for me. Oh well, never mind, back to the drawing board. Thanks for all the help though.
