I use to have one of those base mics Astatic 1104cm , I got one when they very first came out in the UK about 1979/80, I use to work in a CB shop on a Saturday and we was a dealer for all Astatic microphones and the owner of the shop let me have it for half price which was about £15, back then they was selling for about £35 which was a lot back then ,I swopped it with a mate for a Astatic Teardrop 575m6 which actually is the handheld version mobile mic of that base mic wish had it now to go with my other Astatic collection.

yes its a good mic get good reports with it was in a right mess when i got it cleaned it up i will never part with it .
