Now that people can take the UK amateur radio Foundation exam online from their own home, what online training courses are available?
Currently we are aware of two free online Foundation training courses. If you are running an online course not mentioned here please let us know.
The courses so far are:

Register now for Free Foundation Online Training course The next free amateur radio Foundation Online training course run by volunteers from Essex Ham starts on Sunday, May 17
The Coronavirus outbreak and the RSGB's introduction of online exams that can be taken at home has led to a surge in demand for free online amateur radio training courses such as that run by Essex Ham.
To cope with the high-demand from people wanting to get their amateur radio licence the Essex Ham Team are running an additional free online training course starting May 17.
313 people are already on the course that started on May 3.

In response to the demand for remote invigilation exams, the RSGB is launching a new, automated booking system. It will make each part of the process smoother for applicants and HQ staff. As all 600 exam slots in June have now been filled, the new booking system will go live on 1 June in readiness for booking July exam slots.
Over the next ten days we will share more details about the system and how to use it. In the meantime, please note that we are not accepting any new bookings via the old application form.

These courses have been very popular and early registration is advised. 313 people took the course that started on May 3 and a further 235 are on the course that started on May 17.

Intermediate Course -Free to all My UK Intermediate Licence Course has taken off very well with now 629 students at time of writing.
