Hi I'm Mike from Poland but live over 11 years in UK. Been using radios for past few years slowly upgrading stack. Started with Midland 4W radio long time ago and random whip. Now proudly user of CRT SS6900n in mobile with two antennas: sirio performer 5000 (that will go on campervan) and sirio t3. Also got base station: kenwood ts50 and wouxun kg-uv9d+
Got my foundation exam next friday so fingers crossed!
Can I also can have a CT callsign please? Mike, Huddersfield.

Hi Mike Welcome to the group good buddy, nice set up you have there. I too live in Huddersfield so I'll listen out for you. I mainly monitor the 27.555Mhz as apposed to ch 19. Too many idiots on there for my liking. Looking forward to hearing you. I'm up in Greenhead Park and can get out to most of the satellite villages. Good luck with the exam, I'm sure you'll be fine. Hi Dale I'm glad I've got someone here local! Will do pal, yesterday ive been on 7mhz and 14mhz and had clear signal on Italy and germany. Will give you PM when I will be on air. You also stay safe pal. I'm currently out and scanning PMR frequencies.

O. K. Mike. No problem. Where abouts in Huddersfield are you? And do you have a "handle" you go by when you're on channel 19fm? I don't go on there much, only to talk to a couple of friends - GUNSLINGER and DIRECTOR, we normally use channel 15 so have a listen. At night the idiots gather on 19 so I sometimes just listen. But mainly (until it dies down) I'm monitoring 27.555Mhz like I said before.
