Hello everybody, Hello moderator team,
I have been using CB Radio since around 1975 when I had my first contacts with my cousin who helped me with the first QSOs. Since then, this virus has never really let go of me. I got my first "license", starting with a shortwave callsign in 1987 and then - two years later - I passed the radio amateur exam. CB Radio has been with me all the time. My main interest was the technical part and of course DXing with SSB. Since I occasionally bought broken CB radios to repair and sell them, I could sometimes test them on the band after the work was done. Nevertheless, I had only some kind of auxiliary antennas and could never reach long ranges. For several years I had always thought about buying a CB radio with SSB and an adequate antenna. But it should be an officially approved radio since I don't want to risk my amateur license with modified 11 m devices. Now I have an Albrecht AE 5890 EU and a separate Lambda 1/2 antenna for the 11m band.
Since my main interest for the DX is in the 11-meter band, of course I need a corresponding call sign, which I hereby apply for.

Hi all,
yesterday I already posted my more or less detailed introduction and the request for a CT callsign. For some reason the old post "1428-introduction-and-callsign-request-peter-munich#8741" is no longer available. As I received that "Topic reply notification", something must have happened to let the message disappear. So this is the second try, but just wit a few words. I started with CB radio at about 1975 as a very young boy just visiting school. Later on I was a shortwave listener and also took the amateur radio exam, but CB radio was always one of my hobbies. In the last years I repaired some radios and most time took the chance to test them on the band after the work was done. However it was just some kind of makeshift and so I thought abaout buying a modern radio with the capability of SSB modulation and install a proper antenna.
The only piece to complete my puzzle is a CT callsing. Could you please assign a CT callsign?
