| Hi all I've just finished, in the rain putting up a Gain master 5/8. It really looks the part but does anyone have any experience of them? took down a silver rod. Hoping for big difference?

| You will or should notice a difference, they do need to be up very high in free space to get the full benefit of them they don't like to be to close to walls if possible, plus if you put it on a pole make sure the pole has some swing in it so the antenna doesn't take all the strain when its windy otherwise you'll stand a chance of it snapping and dont over tighten the the jubilee clips either cos that can cause cracks other than than that a very good antenna, you wait till the good conditions are back you'll see the benefit. | |
