You could run it on around 12 amp but a 20/25 amp would be a better investment for any extra adorns you might get.

Sound advice above from Alan, go for something with a bit more clout than you need - originally I didn't, I cut corners and bought a cheap PSU that barely managed - naturally that's been binned now and I replaced it with a 30 Amp one.
Lessons learned for me on that one..

Mydel MP30-SWIV is a nice small and quiet 30A PSU. Has both voltage and current display too. It's switchmode but is RF quiet.

£18 for a 30amp power supply that must be crap or a mistake on price, even a basic 30 amps ones for proper CB use start at about £60 you cant even get a basic 7amp CB power pack for£18 Look on a proper CB suppliers website and get the proper thing http://www.kcb.co.uk https://www.thunderpole.co.uk/cb-radio.html
I definitely would like to see this £18 30amp per supply .

Very good advice from Martin the £18 PSU from Amazon is probably for a computer and no good for running radio gear
Try and buy a dedicated psu and save yourself some grief

It's up to you mate buy one and see how much interference it give you on the radio that's unless its damage your radio first . sorry I dont care about people saying there good on Amazon or even Fred in the Shed they are not suitable for CB use ,so good luck on your purchase.

That's why a bought a digital volt meter, just because people spend £60 on a power supply doesn't make it any better, as long as the volts is constant and enough amps, being regulated is the main point,no difference to a expensive one.

When I have it all setup I will let the you all know on the output voltage if it stays stable, that's why I have ordered a volt meter to keep a eye on it, obviously I don't want to see any fluctuations on it, two year guarantee any problems it will go back..

Ok I have a good sense of humour, my son is a IT technician he uses one all the time on his 3d printing, that's why I am adding a volt meter for the sake of £3 off good old eBay at least I can monitor it, well I have the aerial and power supply, but no radio yet, had to blow the cobwebs off silver rod hasn't been used for a long time took it all apart cutting bolts out all connections dry and clean, well I am half way there...

Those are similar to the ones that used to power arcade video games back when I was a bench engineer
