As I am in my caravan on holiday, I am not getting the voltage from my leisure battery eg 10 /11v at most to power my ss9900, my question is will I be better with my Generator that has an Inverter connected to the battery to boost power to the radio ??? Just a thought, btw we are off grid so no hook up.

No success, I tested the output of the Gen, and it was 17v DC So did not risk it.

My next idea is to remove the Caravan mover wiring, (why would an ex HGV 1 Driver need one anyway ?) And add thicker wire direct to 2 Leisure batteries hopefully to get max power to the beer cooler OH! sorry Radio.

Keep mover and add a solar panel to help keep your batteries fully charged. Just a thought.

I have a 300 watt solar panel keeping the battery going, I think I need 2 batteries to keep the amps up really, any way going home today so will get it sorted.
