Hi John, great little radios especially when wide banded as opens up more features, so good I now have two of them.
If it's cheap get in quick before someone else does you won't regret it.

Yep...cut white wire plus there's a jumper on the board that needs to be moved over a pin as well.

No mate my dad trying to get back in to cb seen my one seen one cheap and got it didn't see its usa model my one working great not selling its up for swap

I am going to buy one of these I think. I saw your one for £100, and thought that would be OK for me here in Canada, and help you out. But they just dropped the SSB version price here to $170. That converts to £100. Oh just noticed your Multimode II, I had one of those for years n years.

The ham Multimode 2 its needs to be fixed at moment some caps or something needs replacing on waiting for lockdown to end to get it done. Its great on ssb not so much on fm. I got it cheap at a car boot sale paid around £20 with a old midland radio with it. The mckinley great radio mate cant fault it

I got mine about 1983. It worked great. It was in the loft for years. I forgot all about it. I sold it at a car boot sale. Probably in the 90's.
