I have ordered an Anytone 5555N as I fancied a new toy to play with. Can anybody tell me if the programming lead from my SS 6900N will be compatible? Thanks.

I think I've answered my own question. I've lost my original cable so ordered one today. The cable I have ordered lists the Superstar 7900 as one of the compatible radios, so presumably also the 5555N.

Very pleased with this rig. A big improvement on the 6900N with such wonders as a smooth clarifier! As it turns out, it comes with a programming lead. There was a bit of a lump in my throat as I did the OP1 mod, I'm not the best at soldering and my iron is a bit big and clumsy, however ended up doing a pretty tidy job compared to what I've seen in various videos. now I just need a rig check. It's absolutely dead on there at the moment.
