I've been sat meticulously cleaning up this battered old radio. Unfortunately, much of the "chrome" is coming away from the plastic. Any suggestions on how I could renew this or generally smarten up this radio? I was wondering about using some kind of enamel paint. I'm not desperate to do this but thought it might be a nice lockdown project as long as it doesn't get overly expensive or complicated.

If I was to cover the whole front bezel, I wonder if I could get some replacement transfer stickers for the logos.
I'm also looking to replace the sticky S meter with one of these Uniden Superstar Cobra Export Signal Meter | eBay . It looks like it will fit, but there are no dimensions on the listing. I've sent the seller a message.
