Hi all
I'm looking for some pointers on making a mobile antenna for PMR 446. I've got the mag mount and cable but what length should i make the whip. Should i make it a quarter, half, three quarter, five eighth or full wave?

The easiest is 1/4 wave, about 6 inches long. No coils, caps or matching.
