Don't buy the smaller Orbitor/Springer style, I remember reading somewhere that they don't work so well due to the tight coils (but I could be wrong)
All the best

I have the ML-145 with the Sirio 4000 aerial on it works well. The ML-145 is the mag-mount and it has a PL fitting for the aerial to screw into witch comes in handy to screw my 2m/70cm aerial into as well.

Wilson 1000. Very durable quality, operates over large band width. Strong magnet, will not get knocked off your vehicle.

Plus one for the Wilson 1000 I have used mine for seven years now. Great bandwidth and performance.
Not particularly cheap but you get what you pay for.

Sirio 4000 here which I believe is the same performance as the 5000 but slightly cheaper due to plastic base cover rather than metal. But good quality. So I saved myself a tenner Sirio 145 pl mag mount. Doesn't budge even over 70mph.
I did quite a bit of research before buying. Wilson is way too much more money for my liking and quite a few report better performance from the Sirio. I'm not saying the Sirio is better but both as both are considered top antennas.
The Sirio is a big antenna but it screws off the mag mount.
And if you look at Knights electrocom website they state about the Sirio 4000.
"Probably the best antenna available - it will certainly outperform a Wilson!"

Subject: Thanks very much for your msg yeah think I’m going to go with this, the Wilson is a bit expensive for what it is. Where you from hope to speak on the radio waves soon. Thu Aug 18, 2022 8:32 pm
