| Similar story for me, was a breaker in the 80s but always loved radio. Bought the cheap sdr usb and started to listen to all sorts as it goes right through the bands including Vhf and Uhf etc. Quite complex with a waterfall etc like you get on the best ham radio + more on the computer but you can't dx.
