looking for help...trying to get my ft450 to go on ft8...but i need help to work out the wire diagram for the data plug on the back....does anyone have a diagram for this thanks Gerwyn

All the pinouts are in the manual, Page 8, but what interface are you using to connect to the PC?
With my FT-891, I use the USB connector for CAT, so only need to worry about audio. On the 450 (Which I don't have) I presume you will need a second cable for CAT, as it looks as though that is a traditional 9w D-type for serial data, meaning you just need a USB to DB9 serial adapter cable.

The connection for the data plug is listed in the operating manual. If you don't have it a copy is available online.

Hi There , I use the Data Plug on my Ft450d , Have you got all the info you need to know now about it ? I have a P.T.T . Line come out from pin 3 & The VOL/SQL OUT OF PIN 6 that go's into my mixer , The Ground is pin 2 . There are only six pins in that din plug , They are pin 1 . Data In , Pin 2 . Ground . Pin 3 . Data P.T.T. , Pin 4 .F.S.K. in , Pin 5 .Data out , Pin 6 .Sol/ Audio out .
