Just got my mobile aerial out of the boot of the car where it has sat bent round the back for 2 years could be 3. Just sat it on the barbecue lid outside the shack and thought i would have a play. When i set this antenna up about 3.5 years ago it was with a £9.99 SWR metre but just goes t show.

Surprised me that it still worked. It's had a mobility scooter on it suitcases shopping all sorts on it. Still stands straight after being bent all that time. Plugged it into the Lincoln and Germany coming through but not for long lol. Will have to put an 11m antenna back up me thinks.

Nice that it survived all that abuse mate.
Yeah, I'm coming to the conclusion that you really need a veritable antenna farm.....and I'm slowly working on it!
Get another CB antenna up Alan, you know you want to!
