Hi Stephen, Don't worry buddy, whatever happens we won't let the forum disappear. The cost of hosting it is negligible so there's no risk of it not being around.

Hello Dave,
No the forum is not in trouble. Did you not read my reply to Stephen?
I have noticed you removed your first name and specific QTH from your profile. It is a condition of holding a C.T. call sign that they are there. I have put them back for you to save you the trouble of doing so.

Hi Dave,
You told me this when you joined. The one you chose to use is in the call sign directory so that's what needs to be in you profile. The only people that can edit your profile are you yourself or a member of the admin team and I'm pretty sure it wasn't us.

Dave,
I don't really want to labour a point but your nickname Monty and a QTH of West Wales had been entered instead. This clearly wasn't a mistake and I've had members do this many times before.
We really don't ask a lot from our members to qualify for a call sign and it's made perfectly clear on application that this is a requirement. Anyway it's all sorted now so the issue is resolved.
Best 73's Gary.

I think Charlie Tango DX Club should apply to Ofcom for a UK call-sign. There was one associated with the old CB Radio Licence. Charlie Tango could acquire it if there was the same call-sign on each CB Radio Licence. Andrew 26CT2853 Radio Lilac South East England.

Hello Andrew,
The 11 meter band is no longer licensed in anyway at all so Ofcom won't be issuing any licences on a personal or club level.
Just so you know our club call sign is 26-CT-001 it's used every year at the "Buxton bash" keep an ear out for us next year, better still come to the bash grab the mic and use this prestigious call sign yourself!!!
