Hi Neil
Not sure where it is atm and I am a AT member the 512 pre fix is used during the activation because the dxcc is probably not such a safe place to TX from on 11m , after the activation is finished then the country will be revealed

Thank you Craig. Makes sense. I haven't seen that way of working done before, another new aspect since returning to this. A long time ago I remember making a freeband contact with someone in Tunisia who was only doing a short activation because if caught he would have his hands chopped off ..whether his words to us were true or not, he sounded genuine.
Local laws aside there are obviously lots of other things that can make places unsafe to transmit. Will keep a listen out. Contact or no contact, will still be very interesting to learn what the place is after the activation. Good luck everyone, hope someone here manages to work this one.

Did anyone manage to hear or work this one? I didn't. Any info on where it actually was yet?

Side note, I found a QSL card from the Tunisia contact I mentioned. 147\14AD05 Michel. Is from '93, was on 26.255 with a real sig report of 41. I wonder what the punishments are like there now if caught freebanding nearly 30 years on.
