| When out and about, what is the best type of antenna to use on a Harvard 410T?
The original telescopic built in or a push on 'rubber duck' style. | |

| The longer the better for longer distance, rubber ducks are ok for very local comms. | |

| A rubber duck on 11 meters might get you to the end of the road if your lucky. What Morris said.

| An idea, also have an 8.5ft length of wire trailed as a counterpoise as the chassis is a bit small. Think of a centre fed dipole on the end of coax. The telescopic whip is the same as upper element of the dipole. The handheld chassis will be the lower element of the dipole (Hardly 8.5 ft) | |
