Hi, I was into CB back in the 70's and back then lived in the East End of London, my 'handle' back then was 'Hell driver', I now live in Spain and tend to be in the car when using the CB, well hopefully in June after health issues.
Serious question, is it worthwhile to have a call sign as I doubt I will be reaching the UK from Southern Spain, or perhaps you have members in Spain?

Hi Dave, welcome to the CTDX group, if your going to be sidebanding it's a must have, yes there is a Spanish division of the CTDX group. You will have to fill in your profile as per the instructions in red so that Gary can issue you with a call sign 73s Steve.

Many thanks for the quick reply, I don't see me sidebanding at the moment, so may sort that later.
A couple of other thoughts, I got notification in my email regarding your answer, but saw nothing on the site, and the 'inbox' also showed no replies, your thoughts?
I see the heading about this site being for ALL things CB, but you do not sell products?

Hi Dave, the inbox will only show post if you get a private message (pm), the notification you got just let's you know someone has replied to a post you have up, there is a section where members can offer radios etc for sale but CTDX is not a commercial site.
