Hi all, I’ve done a search but can’t find anything. I’m trying to decided on the p2000 or the p5000?
Does anyone have any experience of the p2000? I will be using mag mount.
Thx

They're the same length as the 5000 but a slightly narrower diameter whip. They will perform exactly the same and the only difference will be that you'll have a smaller bandwidth below 2:1 SWR on the 2000 vs the 5000. But as the bandwidth below 2:1 is >1.8MHz anyway that'll cover all of EU, UK and 555 and some of the 10m band too so it's more than plenty.
If you've a ham licence I'd maybe consider the 5000 as you'd be able to get more of the 10m band in too as well as still continuing to cover from EU Ch1. But if you've not then the 2000 is plenty.
