Good evening. Brief introduction. Was into CB radio in the early 1980`s. Had a General Electric AM rig with a T27 aerial on the top of my Cortina MK2. Shifted over to a Harrier (from Dixons) FM legal rig after that with a K40 mag mount. Popped into a shop and someone took a shine to the lot by cutting the coax where it entered the boot! Just getting back into CB again as a natural move from a airband scanner with discone on the roof and was utterly amazed how quiet legal FM is and also how much noise there is now regularly (like most) sporting a 7 on the SRF meter some days. But my set up has only been up & running about 3 days so still getting to grips with the President Mckinley. Thanks for listening. Paul.

Hi Paul,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Great intro there and good to hear about your radio history. (Had a GE AM set myself back in the day....that b*gger was stolen too!). Enjoy your McKinley and your return to CB.
All the best, Victor
