New Member Introduction & Call Sign Request (Issued)

 Recently moved house and dug all my cb gear out from the 90s and augmented it with some new stuff . Now retired so have got time to play again.

I've moved your introduction to a separate posting as you had tagged into the end of someone else's call sign request.

I'm not sure if you require a call sign at all as you haven't actually asked for one but if you do then just post here making an official request and I'll retitle the posting to make that clear. You'll also have to fill in your profile before admin responsible can issue you one.

If you need any help at all just ask here.

No worries there at all John, forums and anything new can take a bit of getting used to so don't fret at all.
(It's why some of here happily volunteer our time to help out.)


I'll change the posting titling to reflect you asking for a call sign but you will need to ensure your profile is filled in before you can be allocated one. Just click on the 'Profile' button at the top of the site when you're logged in and you can add your details. You'll need to enter your first name, country and the QTH being the town/city you live in or near. (Villages and hamlets are fine too. )

Once that's done keep an eye on this posting for when our admin and great keeper of the call sign book Gary comes along to allocate you.

I know that call sign allocations hit a bit of a wall a short while ago due to our admin Gary unfortunately being without internet access. I know that he caught up with some more recently, (he does a fantastic job as admin voluntarily here at Charlie Tango), so hoping that he will catch back up with you shortly.

Hang in there buddy, it's worth the wait.
