RSGB EMF Compliance Calculator updated Sept. 2022

For all licenced Radio Amateurs,


There has been another update to the EMF compliance calculator which now includes 10MHz (30m) and down.

I think the new regs are in force from November 2022.

It seems that I'm at least still compliant with my 10 Watt Foundation limit but note that here has been additional advice added about a 2.4m minimum safe distance. (To prevent people 'touching' your antenna wire......but they'd have to get their hand through brickwork walls to touch my loft antenna???)

Did see this about 5.30am today but was a bit early to try out but kept the page open while i went to the garage.
Just had a quick play set it for ft4/8 can't remember if that option was there in the last version.
Well on 30m i am still compliant.
Will have to go through them all and save the results to a folder like i did last time.
(that cable turned up Victor and is just the job)...

Did wonder if it'd come in handy for you Alan now that you have your 'super-duper' antenna with those extra bands at your disposal.

I'm still compliant apart from weirdly the Ailunce HD1 handheld. At least I have an excuse to tell others to stand away from me!

Never thought about my handy lol.

Still complaint, upto 100watts with the Hustler and the Cobweb.
Low bands ok so not to bothered.

VHF and above no problem as the logperiodic is at 10metres, even nextdoors
loft conversion is out of the zones.
