Ok as you know i don't want to upset the neighbours by throwing up a large antenna so i was thinking of a dipole as these can be either vertically or horizontally mounted i think mine will be vertical as im thinking of mounting it on a tree which more or less would be hidden from view so no upset, any thoughts thanks

I know a ham operator who hides his antennas in trees etc. So why not .
Personally I'm sticking my antenna up where I want and if my neighbour complains I'll return the compliment over His dogs constantly barking

As Nige say's. A lot of Hams use trees when they go out and about. I keep thinking about it as i have a small garden. Problem i have is i don't have a tree but next door doo lol.

Don't think they would notice they are on the weed. Just thought about throwing a wire up there tree i might do it one day.
