HI Ive just got back on 11m after nearly 30yrs i started back on AM in 1976 and worked my way up to ssb DX getting 230 dx countries then i wanted more and took my A license including the morse and have worked the same on all the amatuer bands over the last 2 yrs being semi retired i have partaken to the digital modes and all my software works perfectly on my ft991a ic 7300 and my ftdx101mp but i am scatching my head to get them to work on 11m example the software is dedicated amatuer software and when on 11m there is no allocation for this and the software reads out of band (OOB) on the freq box and will not tx
my question is there must be a way round this problem or is there any software out there for ft8/js8 etc that im not aware of. I have tried changing freq in setting on wsjt-x for ft8 but still shows OOB and will not TX and before any one asks i have modded all my radios and they are fully open to all bands any advice and help would be greatly appreciated im not a stupid person but this now has me baffled
kind regards to any help please in my dilemma clive

I use WSJT-X with a homebrew audio interface and no CAT control on my ancient Yaesu FT757gx with the VOX switched on for TX.
That way I can set any frequency I like on the radio the software no longer being in 'control'. (Handy for sliding up and down the waterfall when the frequency is busy on FT8.)
Have used it to check out 11m transmissions but it's all a little lacklustre with no standardisation so haven't explored further.
There are some members here that use digi modes on 11m with options like JS8Call, fldigi and the like so hopefully they'll pop up with some better suggestions.
Good luck.

Hi Clive Just wound my 991a down to 11m and clicked "Enable TX" and it started to transmit. I use JTDX but can't see why id won't work for you on WSJT-X.

JS8 has it's own software which allows 11m setup at http://files.js8call.com/latest.html and you can see this in action at https://pskreporter.info/pskmap.html

I use my CT c/s on JS8 but there are a few amateurs who use their amateur callsigns, I don't as I live in France and my 2E0 is not accepted outside the UK. Nobody is really worried about either on 11m but I think they might be on amateur bands!

Might give it ago. What frequency is it as it's not on the drop-down list in JTDX.

Not getting anything in the box on JTDX so tried JS8Call. Whatever setting i tried it locked my 991a in tx when i clicked test cat. Had to unplug the power to get the radio back to normal. Well i did try,,,, could it be windows 11 not liking js8call ???.
