| I just got a 9900 and the transceiver seems a little less prone to noise than my 6900N, it is a slight learning curve, and I am beginning to get there now. One feature I do not like is the frequency changing but not the channel, even worse this is remembered. Is there any way of setting things up, so the frequency change matches the channel i.e. going from 26.965 to 26.975 and channels being 1 and 2 and not have the transceiver remember the frequency change. | |

| Found a work around that suits me, If I use a memory slot then I can select the frequency without affecting my programmed bands, then switch between frequency and channels in normal use. It takes a little getting used to, the more I use it, the easier it becomes. I must admit to preferring my 6900N that shows both channel and frequency and does not remember frequency changes. | |
