Hi, I decided it was time to upgrade my Uniden CB radio I bought in 1984 and have just purchased a President McKinley. I’m considering ‘expanding’ it and have read that it increases the power on all the modes. Sorry if it’s a daft question but after it’s expanded, I’m told you hold the F key to put it back in UK mode, once it’s back in UK mode does the power revert back to the normal 4 watts FM etc or is the power increased for the UK mode as well. It changes the frequencies to UKFM but the power is still going to be 27 watts.
