Subject: 12 to 24v variable power supply recommendation Thu Jan 12, 2023 10:00 pm
Hi i have bought a spid rotator that will run on 12/24V,
I forget the exact figures but 12V it will do 360 in lets say 2 minuets 24V 1 minute therefore i would like to use a variable power supply, any recommendations please 5amp would be sufficient.

Not sure about 24v but my 2 will crank up to 18v i think. Would think most would be the same. Only others i have seen that might go up that high are the test type but not much amp's in them.

Thanks Alan are they variable i guess 18V is going to move it a little quicker than 12V but it needs to be variable i dont want to be moving quick in windy conditions.

Thanks Mitch i was looking at them yesterday from memory i think i need 3amp but i would like something more on top of the job.

Thinking out loud last time round i used PSTRotator software from memory it had a option for a slow speed maybe i could get a 24V and regulate via software.
