I have a problem here. I cant get the software for my new CRT SS 6900V TO UPLOAD on my Mac Computer, any ideas please ?

Hello Bernie, as far as I'm aware the software is PC only.

Can you run a windows emulator on Mac ?. Never used one it was just a thought. Hopefully somebody will be of more help than me soon.

I will have a look at that option, good thinking Sir. I have found somebody with a PC dunno if it is up to date and no idea what system it is running.

It's a shame you didn't get the company you purchased it from to programme it for you. Hindsight is a great thing, sometimes!

I did ask if it was set up for CB UK and they said it was, but I can only get EU/CEPT. Not good for me because I cant speak french, well some but not used it for years. But not to worry EH ,

SORTED it out, with the software I managed to put it on a memory stick, then transferred it to my very old windows laptop, just waiting for the connection wire, then all set to go

I received the connection wire today, plugged it into my laptop and, guess wot, I cant get it to work.
Not happy.
Bernie, 1). Are you sure it's the correct/genuine software? 2). Have you checked that the software will run on your windows version? 3). Transfer from stick to PC & attempt to run from there or download direct to PC and try.

(I've programmed a few different radios up to now and they were all a PITA!! )

Also make sure you're using the most up to date drivers and have selected the correct com port that the radio has connected to.

I have worked out how to program the CRT SS 6900 V, and it works all round. Success !! I will not be beaten
