Hello forum last time I was on radio I was 18 now I'm 55, I decided to give a go now that ssb is available . I tried the ham radio ticket at 18 but didn't hold the coarse. I'm considering it now I'm older. Didn't have a call sign back then just a handle.

Welcome to Charlie Tango.
For me to allocate you a call sign I will need your first name but also the specific town or village you live in or near as your QTH.
You can either fill them in on your forum profile by clicking the 'Profile' button at the top of site when logged on with your account or provide them here in this posting and I'll enter them for you.
Once that's done I'll get you a call sign issued on my next rounds.

Thanks I had a look at fred in the shed videos on YouTube to get an idea, I remember if u got a contact in the 80's, sometimes you got an exchange post cards of contact country and location via post office box. just something that happened when I was younger. People I knew on superstars and president rigs.
