Had my Tigetrtronics SignaLink arrive today, after about half an hour of struggling to get the PTT to work, I finally looked at the manual. It now all works properly, and I have a CAT cable to control my FT950, so can switch bands no problems at all.

The main advantage is I can now use USB instead of a data packet mode that severely impacts bandwidth, rather than showing a handful of signals on a band for FT8, I now have plenty on busy bands, and it is for the whole of the waterfall. not just the central portion. I hate to think how many QSO's I missed trying to use the FT950 without the new interface, in the end more expense but worth it.
