How can I find 6 digit frequencies in Middlesbrough. Most are 7+. I have a Retevis rt23 that covers 136/174 and 400/480. Any help appreciated thanks

Hi again Berni,
Channel frequency spacing in the UK for VHF/UHF is 12.5kHz apart but for PMR frequencies you might need to set the radio to 6.25k. (Or program the radio with the correct frequencies and then select 12.5kHz spacing.)
Page 19 of the manual shows you how to set the frequency step mode :-
The additional digits should show up as a small "25" or "75"
So for example PMR Channel 1 is 446.00625 so your radio will show "446.006" then a small "25" next to it. Then the next PMR Channel 2 is 446.01875 so your radio will show "446.018" then a small "75" next to it.
....and so on.
It is all in the manual but I know these little radios can be tricky to program/operate if you're not used to them.
As ever the old internet is abound with such helpful information so worth a good search.
Again, I hope that helps.
All the best, Victor
