ok so i moved to a bungalow due to my illness, and wanted to find out the legal height of a cb aerial from the ground,
many have said it can't be over 60ft from ground, other 180cm in total, so does anyone know the correct height,

Not as much as you'd like, here's some info I found: https://www.planningportal.co.uk/permission/common-projects/satellite-tv-and-radio-antenna/planning-permission-houses-and-buildings-up-to-15-metres-high so that's the legal position, but you could take a chance and hope nobody complains. I live in a bungalow and my two aerials are about 40 feet high so I guess I've been lucky the last 10 years, I think after so many years there's not a lot they can say now as far as I know.

As High as possible as long as the neighbours don't kink up a stink.
I was lucky, I had a flag pole at 30 feet up and it has been there for about 25 years so nobody noticed the change now with my antenna on top, and I think by law if has been there more than 4 years (with proof), nobody can do anything about it. Correct me If I am wrong.

thank you everyone for the reply's, as for the 433.075 i can hear them on my boafeng, just though people would like to know thats all, 100 centimetres only 3 ft, no wonder people put them up and dont ask if they can have the aerial, its funny where i live right now, every thing you ask for is a NO!,
but in Manchester you ask you get a Yes, think ill move back to manchester,

You're quite right Tony (Tonyvic),
433.075MHz is on the Amateur Radio frequencies and that it is within the repeater output section of the 70cm band plan. Judging by the area that Glen (ghoshy2014) has listed on his QTH my best guess would be the output of GB3KU located in Ashton-Under-Lyne. This is an internet enabled repeater so it is highly likely that anyone could hear traffic from it that could've originated from anywhere in the world.
You can't however legally transmit anywhere on those frequencies unless suitably licenced (licence-free PMR is in the 446MHz range) and even if licenced it would be utterly pointless transmitting on a repeater output frequency as you would make no contact with the originating signals.
The above all mentioned in an informative way for others that may be reading this posting.
As for legal heights of antenna installations the planning portal website listing is already mentioned and this type of information can often be found easily online. If in any doubt it may be worth anyone contacting their local planning department and/or council offices. For installations made regardless of any legal restrictions the responsibility is yours and any consequences also.
All the best, Victor
