Subject: Noise on USB 27.305 Sun Jul 09, 2023 1:48 pm
Bought CRT SS 9900 and found every time i went uppers on 27.3050 i got terrible a-mounts of noise 7-9`s constantly yet muppets an nearly every other channel was clear 2-4.
After hours of turning everything that broadcasts rf in the house andd pting tons of ferrite rings on every power cable i found the culprit a laptop charger, even thou i was not plugged in to my Lenovo Laptop it was still plugged up to the mains and as soon as it was switched of noise jropped from 9 to 3.
So if your gettin a ton of noise threw your radio start turning of all apliances till you find the culprit an then wack it with a sledge haer and wont cause a problem nomore

I had serious problems with QRM when first using CB here, when running off a battery totally clear reception. Never got to the bottom of it, and now I have a ham rig it seems to suppress any noise due to good filtering.
Chargers and wallwarts seem to be one of the main culprits.
