Just ordered one of these, to try to clear up some hash on the FT857! I can hear stations just above the noise floor and I know one of these has worked in the past on HF Bands, any one want to input on good or bad use of one??
Cheers Tony

Never used one myself as i never though they would work. But the older versions get mixed reviews so will be interesting to hear your thoughts on it when you get yours. https://www.eham.net/reviews/view-product?id=9875

I’ve had terrible QRM noise on the 11m band channels 12,13 and 14.On Mids,Am and SSB,It’s been secretly driving me crackers. You know what it’s like check every connection and every cable and wire In my house has a nice black shiny clam ferrite on it,Even the kids PlayStation..lol Common mode choke is fine and everything is as was before the noise.I’ve even scanned all the neighbouring roofs to see if anything new has been added like solar panels etc etc. The last thing on the list is to ask the neighbours have they bought anything new like a fish tank but sadly here the houses are nice but the occupants aren’t.. So cross that off the to do list.Got up this morning switched the radio on and guess what (I won’t swear) Silence,Not a crackle or burst of QRM and certainly no S5-S6.Praise to the linear gods up above and I just hope whatever they had plugged in finally broke just like my nerves nearly did listening to that awful noise. Steve if you hear me on the 115 net later all is well.. Cheers Tom. 26 CT 4029
