Hello all,
My name is Chris (handle Grasshopper). QTH Middlesbrough, England. Equipment Intek M-100 Plus, RTL-SDR running Skywave Linux software. Antennas limited to mobile CB antenna for 11-meters & DIY dipole for the SDR RX. Radio shack is currently a work in progress.
In a previous life I was a radio telegraphist in the military.
I was a previous member of the Charlie Tango DX group before the change over some years ago and if possible would like to retain my original callsign and "handle".

Glad to see you made it to the forum and I wish you a warm welcome back.
All previous call signs ever allocated on Charlie Tango will always be valid and thanks to our admin team's hard work we maintain a call sign list for such eventualities. You can see your entry on the following link :-
I've updated your forum profile accordingly to include your call sign details.
You will be shown as a 'new member' due to rejoining the newer forum but this will alter as and if you make any postings here automatically. I did check thinking I could give you a '10 year award' but you're just shy - remind me next year and I'll upgrade you suitably.

Many thanks for the welcome and re-in-statement, nearly 10 years, heck time flies when you are having fun.
I hear a few CT call-signs up here around Middlesbrough area and beyond, I am in a bit of a dip which is good and bad, not so bad when I get a decent AE up.
Right I think I will scan a few of the posts now.
