Greetings, I hope this message finds everyone, really well.
Returning to the World Of CB after a 35+ year break.
I used to have access to my parents homebase unit (silver in colour is all I remember) and back in the 80's my handle was Band Aid (as in the plasters) as I was always grazing and cutting myself as a kid, but then Bob Geldoff Ruined it for me with feed the world concert called Bandaid.
I'd like to be issued with a callsign please as I would like to experiment with ssb A'd then possibly gain my ham foundation licence.
Many thanks for your help and time
Nathan W (Band Aid) Southampton Uk 47 years young.

Hi Nathan,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Great intro there and good to hear a little about your radio history. Nice to have fond memories of parents involved with CB adventures and I also wish you good luck with plans towards the Foundation exam.
I am delighted to allocate you 26-CT-4899 may you have good luck with it.
All the best, Victor

I never knew there was a posh area, but I'm definitely from the rough part of the City

Southampton has a few posh bits, but I only own one bit East side, I will listen out for CT - 4899 Trouble is we have some people around the town that just like to key out the people on 19

I have noticed that there are a few wallies in the area, but I am trying not to let them spoil the time I get.
