I came across this forum some months ago after getting my first amateur call sign. I have just had my antennas installed, (MFJ-1786 mag loop and an X30 for those other bands).
I used to work 11m SSB MANY years ago when perhaps it was slightly less legal and coming back to radios some years later I’d love to get back into it.
The forum looks great as well and I can see lots that interests me already.
Looking forward to many QSOs with a nice shiny CT call sign.
Thanks,
Alasdair

Thanks Steve. Certainly might be possible. Was on a 10m net the other evening and was getting out to everyone but they were pretty local - about 6 miles at most. Of course I get 12w on 11m as opposed to 10w on 10m That'll make all the difference
My antenna is pretty high above the ridgeline but it is a mag loop horizontally set for DX so could be rather limiting for local work, (it shouldn't work well locally).
